The new Melbourne establishment HER is an entire building dedicated to all the things Melbourne loves – modern classic food, sophisticated drinks, art, design and music. The space includes HER BAR, HER Rooftop and HER Music Room.

The drinks menu curated by Tom Byrne (HQ Group’s General Manager) is bright and bold, offering a selection of citrus-focused gin libations as well as an Aperol Sour on tap. “Cocktails for HER BAR are classic, timeless, but above all, fun,” says Tom.

HQ Group’s Executive Chef Nick Bennett also brings his timeless and sophisticated cooking style to the French-inspired menu that is familiar, focused, and free from categories and courses. Flank Steak Tartare, Escargots, Roast Chicken and Duck Frites are just some of the unique food offerings.
“The food at HER BAR is simple and accessible – house made seasonal produce and classic techniques are the cornerstones. The menu is made to snack, share, or settle in for the long haul, at any time of the day,” says Nick.
The architecture and interior design was completed by a local Melbourne team and draws on inspiration from the confident and seductive qualities of European salons, with feminine features delicately blended with the bold.
HER BAR is open for walk ins and if guests are unable to secure a spot they are encouraged to play amongst the variety of HER restaurants, bars and spaces.
