Two of the World’s most acclaimed bartenders and long-time friends, Lorenzo Antinori and Simone Caporale, are joining force’s this year to launch Montana, a new bar set to open in Hong Kong, mid 2025.
Antinori and Caporale have won multiple awards and earned the bar industry’s respect through and through. With Antinori best known for, Bar Leone, Hong Kong–No.2, the World’s 50 best bars 2024, and the best bar in Asia 2024. While Caporale has taken over Europe’s bar scene, best known for Sips, Barcelona–No.3, the World’s 50 best bars 2024, the best bar in Europe 2024, and the World’s best bar 2023.
Montana will draw inspiration from the Club de los Cantineros, Cuba’s historic bartender society, and will channel the energy of 1970’s Miami. The bar will celebrate the golden age of Cuban cocktails with a focus on classics like the Daiquiri, Mojito and El Presidente, while blending the innovation both bartenders are known for.
Set in one of the world’s most dynamic hospitality cities, Montana is expected to merge heritage, energy, and world-class service, with an emphasis on music, and memorable hospitality.
Details on the launch remain under wraps, but with the concept being built on the foundation of friendship, extensive experience, and passion for the industry, it’s likely to attract international attention.
