Voting for the Bar Awards 2022 kicks off in a week (Tuesday, 1 March) and we really want you to get involved. These awards are determined by your votes. Voting closes 31 May (11.59PM AEST) so tell your staff and your hospo friends. We also have two new awards up for grabs: Best Distillery Bar & Best Brewery Bar.

In a bid to raise the bar year after year and offer increased value to competition entrants, the London Spirits Competition has introduced a beneficial feature which has been launched today and is now LIVE.
An essential overview of a selection of light spirits – learning aspects of production from grain to bottle to assist your knowledge around being able to confidently recommend particular spirits for your guests.
Hosted by the Beverage Trade Network, three competitions — London Spirits Competition, London Beer Competition, and London Wine Competition — are held and judged simultaneously. These competitions are international in nature and put the consumer’s point of view central in their understanding of award-winning wine, beer, and spirit.
Learn the importance of structuring menus properly and how to maximise spirits and cocktail sales, as well as an introduction to pairing food with occasions and social media interaction.
Adelaide is often overlooked within the cocktail competition circuit, but they form a valuable development program for talent. The first round of the competition will be judged in the entrant’s home bar, which is intended to lower the barrier to entry to include up-and-coming bartenders.
