Thrice as Nice Gin

Samuel Smith & Son have recently launched a new, premium gin into the Australian market. No.3 London Dry Gin is infused with three fruits and three spices, a combination that is believed to be ‘all that was deemed essential to the flavour of No.3 London Dry Gin’. Italian Juniper, with notes of pine and lavender; Sweet Spanish orange peel that gives freshness, and clean crisp acidity and Grapefruit peel to add ‘extra zingy lift’.

Bartender Magazine Most Influential List Party

The Bartender magazine Top 50 most influential bar industry personalities have been named, and the Top 10 is set to be announced at another bumper celebration, this year to be held at one of Sydney’s trendiest new venues, The Norfolk Hotel, Monday April 11, from 6:30pm.

Doss Blockos Pale Ale

With a 4.6% abv, this Pale Ale is described as a ‘smooth, premium style brew’. Brewed in the traditional Lager way and showing full malty flavours that are balanced with a mild hop bitterness. This brew is one for easy drinking, and its fresh crisp taste will ensure that you’re keen to grab another

Eclectic Lighting Designs

The team at Yellow Goat Design have come up with a few more lighting beauties to help jazz up your trendy little night spot. These gems, named ‘Shrinkage’, use a simple powder coated wire frame to show off a whole range of sleek prints, in almost innumerable sizes, shapes and available graphics.

Downtown (Below The Commons)

A great new subterranean addition is ready to visit, set beneath the cool sandstone walls of The Commons in Darlinghurst. Downtown is described by the team as a ‘classics bar’ and set in its 160-year-old sandstone larder underneath The Commons dining room, it is hard to argue. ‘Downtown takes you back to the roots of good music and liquor.

Hunky Dory Social Club

Creating quite a frenzy is this little number, a new multi-level venue in the heart of Sydney’s night life area. The Hunky Dory Social Club (HDSC) has been fully refurbished in a 1900s French décor style with vintage chandeliers to boot. Well worn chesterfield sofas to sink into, pressed metal ceilings and a copper finished bar provide a pretty sleek environment to enjoy a classic martini or a longneck of beer.
