With Neutral Bay slowly filling up for prime bar real estate there have been a couple of recent additions further down the road in Cremorne. The Mayor Bar & Dining is proving a hit, and came online just in time for the summer rush. “The building used to be the old Cremorne post office and we have done a great transformation to make the bar a warm great space,” says Tim Harvey, venue manager.
“We have a big central bar with high back chairs to sit at, the food offering is amazing and our signature cocktail list was created by Jason Crawley so you can imagine it is sensational!” There is quite a selection of food and drink on offer and you could hit out with some Crackling Pork Belly with Scallops, Lobster Cannelloni, Waygu Fillet if you’ve got an appetite, or something like ‘The Mayor’ Club Sandwich, Salt & Pepper Calamari or the chef’s antipasto plate if you’re after something smaller.
There’s a range of brews to choose from including Coopers Pale Ale, Bluetongue, Little Creatures and Asahi and the bar team will also be on hand to whip up cocktails – both classic and contemporary.
