On the 18th of September during Bar Week, some 400 people got down to Frankie’s despite the rain to explore more than 120 different craft spirits at the Indie Spirits Tasting.
With distillers from throughout Australia — and even all the way from the USA — manning the tasting tables, the drink-loving public and the bar trade alike got to see a diverse range of independent spirits in the one room.
And for those wanting a more in-depth, up close and personal tasting, four masterclasses were held in the Frankie’s Fun Room downstairs.
The Indie Spirits Tasting is making its way across this wide brown land in March next year, all the way to Perth for Wednesday the 15th, before heading to Brisbane in May and back to Sydney in September again for Bar Week 2017.
