Bar Convent Berlin is going to Brooklyn next year

Bar Convent Berlin is the largest bar trade show in Europe, and it takes place each October — we’ve just returned from there and it’s a sight to behold. The big news coming out of this year’s BCB is that now they’ve got their sights set on another city which begins with a ‘B’: Brooklyn, USA.

(Hey, maybe they’ll do Bar Convent Brisbane soon?)

All the elements that have made Bar Convent Berlin such a success will be present in the Brooklyn iteration of the event, with demonstrations, tastings, panel discussions and more happening.

So, mark your diaries now — the Bar Convent Brooklyn event will be held on June 12 and 13, 2018 at the Brooklyn Expo Center. It seems to us like the perfect excuse to plan a trip to New York — you know, for “research” purposes.

The other big news out of this year’s BCB is that the Berlin edition next year will extend to three days, so that they can accomodate the more than 12,000 people that wish to attend each year.
