Three of Australia’s top bars will battle it out to decide the charity champion

The final showdown of the 1800 Tequila House Swap will take place at Cobbler in Brisbane on Monday 28 October.

DEATH & TAXES from Brisbane, HATS & TATTS from Melbourne and JACOBY’S TIKI BAR from Sydney will go head-to-head in what promises to be the bar team battle of the year. The crew that attracts the sells the most delicious 1800 cocktail for charity and nails the banter on the night will come out on top.

The Hats & Tatts crew.

Each team will create a signature 1800 Tequila cocktail for their shift on the night. The bonus for punters is that the 1800 cocktails will be just $10 cash all night and every cent made by the bars will go to each bar’s chosen charity. The House Swap will kick off at 8pm run until 11pm, with all three bars battling to keep the crowd buying their signature tequila cocktail through the night.

About the House Swap, Hayley Dixon, Proximo Tequila Specialist, says, “The first round of House Swap showcased some of the best cocktails I have had the pleasure of tasting this year.

Jacoby’s Tiki Bar from Sydney will also be competing.

“I also witnessed some very, ‘creative’ methods to maximise sales and I can only assume round two is really going to step it up a notch. It’s going to be weirder, it’s going to be more wonderful and if you’re in Brisbane you better mark the date in your calendar. You wouldn’t want Sydney or Melbourne to take home the title… would you?”

  • Death & Taxes will support RSPCA Queensland
  • Hats & Tatts will support Black Dog Institute
  • Jacoby’s Tiki Bar will support Emmett’s Army for Cystic Fibrosis

The 1800 Tequila House Swap is open to everyone; no tickets or reservations are required and entry is free.
