Monkey Shoulder, the world-famous premium whisky that’s made for mixing, is preparing to give Sydneysiders a spectacle over the next month with the launch of a free door-to-door cocktail delivery service in partnership with some of Sydney’s most exciting venues.

Launching on World Cocktail Day (13 May), Sydney’s cocktail connoisseurs should look out for the Monkey Mixer – Australia’s Largest Cocktail Mixer Truck – making its way across a number of Sydney suburbs, delivering cocktails direct from a number of trailblazing bars and their talented bartenders.

From the Eastern Suburbs to the Northern Beaches, Monkey Shoulder will partner with a new venue each week and will feature a special code that eagle-eyed cocktail fans can find on the truck which unlocks a redeemable free cocktail on the venue’s website.
Monkey Shoulder will deliver a special ‘Lockdown Cocktail Menu’ which includes:

  • The Espresso Monkey
  • Work meets play, in a good way. Tastes like a whisky, with a twist on the classic coffee cocktail.

  • The Boulevardier #3
  • A Whisky and Campari punch to ver-mouth. Tastes like a Negroni with attitude.

The Monkey Mixer’s first stop will be at Potts Point’s  premiere cocktail bar The Roosevelt, with the Mixer making deliveries from 13-17 May.

The following week, from 20-24 May, Monkey Shoulder will join forces with one of Sydney’s leading pubs, The Unicorn, in Paddington, unlocking free premium cocktails for those in the surrounding areas.

Travelling from the Eastern Suburbs to the Northern Beaches, the Monkey Mixer will collaborate with Donny’s Bar from 27-31 May, bringing the unique service to a Manly favourite.

To finish up, Monkey Shoulder will come to the streets of Sydney’s CBD with the help of one of the World’s 50 Best Bars, Maybe Sammy. Bottled to perfection, the month-long activity is guaranteed to end with a bang between 3-7 June.

Stefano Catino, Owner of Maybe Sammy, said: “We craft great drinks, but we love people. We care a lot about our customers, that’s our first goal. For Monkey Shoulder to provide a service that helps us deliver our delicious cocktails and bring happiness into our customers’ homes, is truly fantastic. We are so pleased to be able to help people create magical moments at home over our expertly crafted whisky cocktails.”

It doesn’t stop at free cocktails. Throughout the month, Monkey Shoulder has also partnered with online bottle shop, Boozebud, to ensure a gift to the value of $29, is provided to every drinker that purchases a bottle of Monkey Shoulder during 13 May – 5th June 2020.

Monkey Shoulder Brand Ambassador, Mikey Lowewho has crafted the special menu and is leading the Monkey Mixer around Sydney, said: “At Monkey Shoulder, we love to mix and experiment with our whisky, so we thought we’d put our Monkey Mixer to good use and let Sydneysiders join in the fun. We’ve got great-tasting cocktails aplenty and a service to remember – after all, it’s not every day you get a super-sized cocktail mixer on your doorstep.

“As a family-run business, William Grant & Sons is also committed to supporting local businesses throughout this time so it was also important to us to help keep the Sydney hospitality scene moving and hopefully inspire some amazing venues and talent in the process.”
