Sydney bars get behind tips4uganda!
Mitch Horrocks left hospitality a few years back with the mission of bringing clean drinking water to communities in Uganda. You can read a bit more about how he started his charity 663toZERO here.
The pandemic put the fundraiser on hold in 2020 but now it’s back with dozens of Sydney bars getting behind the event and donating their tips to the cause on Friday, 16th April. “I’m organising a night where many bars and restaurants across Sydney are donating their tips to provide clean drinking water to rural Uganda with my charity 663toZERO. I would love to encourage the general public to tip big on Friday April the 16th.”
“The goal of the night is obviously raising as much money as possible, encouraging the general public to tip more than they usually would and to raise more awareness for the cause,” says Mitch.
In 2018 and 2019 the events raised over $5000. “The goal of the night is obviously raising as much money as possible, encouraging the general public to tip more than they usually would and to raise more awareness for the cause,” says Mitch.
