The World’s 50 Best Bars ranking will be held on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, with a live ceremony at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.

For its 17th year, the awards return to Asia, highlighting bars and bartenders that are redefining the drinking scene worldwide. The ceremony, presented in partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, will gather industry leaders to celebrate the highest achievers in the drinks world.

Emma Sleight, Head of Content for The World’s 50 Best Bars, shared her excitement “Bringing the ceremony to Hong Kong is an exciting opportunity to celebrate a city whose bar culture is evolving rapidly and inspiring cocktail lovers everywhere.”

Dane Cheng, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, added, “Hong Kong’s dynamic bar scene reflects its unique cultural mix, making it the perfect place to host such a prestigious event. We’re excited to welcome the best from the global bar community.”

The live event will be broadcasted to a global audience, giving drinks enthusiasts around the world a chance to join the celebration via the 50 Best Bars YouTube channel.
