Opening in April this year, the Merrywell, is billed as a ‘game-changing gastro-pub’. You’ll find it at the also recently relaunched Crown, and the Merrywell is offering up Brit-grub favourites like Piggies in a Blanket, Devilish Shrimp Scottish Eggs and ‘Cool’ Burgers (18). There’s a raft of beers to choose from the list – 30 all up – with over half a dozen on tap. It’s a casual sort of venue, albeit with an edgy touch thanks to Melbourne based architects and interior designers, Mills Gorman.
