Tales of the Cocktail takes place in New Orleans each year. It’s one of those bucket-list bartender destinations; you’ve got to join in on the shenanigans and join with your bartending compadres in the five night long celebration of the cocktail at least once.
Each year, though, they take an abbreviated form of the event on the road to other cities in other countries — in the past, landing in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, and Vancouver in previous years — and this year Tales on Tour is going to Edinburgh, Scotland.
The event takes place over four days, from April 1st to the 4th, and just like in New Orleans there’ll be a number of arresting seminars to dive into should you make the jaunt to the UK.
Speakers include bartending luminaries like Ryan Chetiyawardana (White Lyan and Dandelyan, London), Naren Young (Dante, NYC), Jack McGarry (Dead Rabbit and BlackTail, NYC), Jim Meehan of PDT and many more.
Tickets for the event go on sale to the public on January 11, USA time. In the meantime, take a look at the seminars below.
