We have two pieces of good news from Elephant Gin.
Elephant Gin has been awarded the Ethical Award from The Spirit Business. Since launching Elephant Gin in 2013, its products have won multiple awards for its artisan distillation process, chosen ingredients and noteworthy bottle design. The judges of The Spirits Business, the only dedicated international spirits magazine and website in the world with a circulation to more than 50,000 spirits professionals worldwide, has awarded Elephant Gin with a special honour as it endorses the company for its distinguished social responsibility.
Elephant Gin has been contributing 15% of bottle profits to partner foundations in Kenya and South Africa that are devoted to the conservation of the African elephant. Through product sales as well as fundraising events, it has donated over €500,000 (over $800,000) to various anti poaching activities, orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation programs and building an education center focussed on wildlife conservation.
Judged by members of the editorial team and a panel of independent spirits experts, The Spirit Business has given the highest granted number of points in recognition of this commitment as it “aims to reward those driving excellence across the industry.” The Ethical Award considered all types of activities covering community engagement, charity donations, best practice in promoting responsible drinking, and more.

Also, Elephant Aged Gin has landed! Elephant Gin released another 4,000 bottles of its newest Aged edition in summer 2019, which includes an extra rum cask finish. We have 90 of these bottles on our shores.
Elephant Aged Gin II is based on a 100% rye distillate, taking advantage of its premium grain structure as well as its natural spicy and fruity characteristics. It combines the same 14 botanicals that Elephant London Dry Gin is renowned for, but has increased quantities of all ingredients to achieve a higher concentration of aromas.
While the gin was rested in three different types of oak for a year, the focus during the ageing process remained on a juniper-led flavour and prominent fresh characteristic of the gin. The result is an added perfectly balanced silky spice, sweet smokiness and a hint of vanilla.
In a final process, the Elephant Aged Gin II was further rested in Diplomático Rum casks from Venezuela for a few weeks, which lends it an additional warm, sweet caramel aroma.
