ANANAS announces FREE training for hospitality workers in May & June

ANANAS, one of the world’s leading hospitality training and management platforms, will repeat their goodwill gesture from 2020, offering up the ANANAS platform for FREE to hospitality workers to assist in recovering from the industry impact of COVID-19.

This special offer unlocks hundreds of dollars of value for hospitality workers looking to upskill or find employment in the industry.

ANANAS was founded by industry veteran Sven Almenning, best known for his Speakeasy Group of venues, including Eau de Vie, Boilermaker House, Nick & Nora’s and Mjølner. Sven also created Diageo’s Alchemy training program, training over 100,000 hospitality staff. The Alchemy program collected a record seven awards for ‘Best Bar-Industry Training Program’ in Australia.

“We genuinely believe ANANAS offers the most in-depth training for bar and wait staff anywhere in the world. From fundamental hospitality skills, such as pouring beers or carrying three plates, to more advanced cocktail skills, such as fat- washing and most subjects in-between”, Almenning says.

“By making ALL courses free for the next two months, we hope this will give workers a leg-up in acquiring the skills and knowledge they need to get the right job for them, as well as giving employers a more skilled and educated talent pool to recruit from”.

ANANAS is also offering all bars, restaurants and hospitality groups that sign up for a new annual ‘Business’ subscription during May and June an additional two months free.

“Covid has really hit the hospitality industry hard” Almenning says. “Besides the obvious financial impact, we are now faced with an enormous skills shortage. We hope that ANANAS can assist in bridging this gap by providing venue operators with an automated and efficient onboarding and training platform for their teams.
