Bar Bambi is a new Melbourne venue that opened in November, merging good food and entertainment. In an effort to revive Melbourne’s nightlife scene, hospitality veterans Nick and Daniel Russian have designed the venue for both a millennial and mature market.

The LA and European inspired lounge invites guests to graze on Italian share plates, paired with an extensive variety of spritzes and negronis. The space functions as a blend between a restaurant and a lounge, allowing guests to enjoy a bite to eat whilst being entertained by live music all under the same roof.

Returning from a culinary-focused trip to Italy, Head Chef Salvatore Giorgio has crafted a menu that boasts sophistication and features classic gems. From antipasti, to a carbonara toastie and vodka pasta, the menu has been designed to share as a feast.

“Bar Bambi has been a project in the works for a long time” says Nick. Taking inspiration from renowned supper clubs across LA, the pair recognised a gap in the market between Melbourne nightlife and a traditional dining experience, perfect for their established demographic of mature clientele.

Bar Bambi operates every Wednesday – Saturday from 5pm till late.
