Frog’s Hollow Saloon & Alice are hosting three of Australia’s best bars in Brisbane in Feb & March

Who would have thought it’s been two years since the humble honky tonk hostelry Frog’s Hollow Saloon opened its saloon doors to the cowboys and cowgirls of Brisbane. To celebrate, Frog’s Hollow Saloon have teamed up with their sister bar, Alice, to launch a month-long series of parties and takeovers with three of the best bars from all across Australia.

Voyaging from Adelaide, Cry Baby is bringing their infectious party energy to Alice for some late-night debauchery, sponsored by Makers Mark, alongside their sister venue Memphis Slim’s House Of Blues, who will be showcasing their talents at Frog’s Hollow Saloon, sponsored by Basil Hayden, freshly after they’ve been dubbed ‘Australia’s Best Bartender’s Bar’.

“What better way to celebrate Frog’s second birthday than by hosting five parties, and bringing three of our favourite bars to the city” says co-owner Peter Hollands.

Blasting off from sunny Sydney before crash landing into the saloon, Bar Planet, Australia’s newly named ‘Best Gin Bar’, where they will wield their signature porrón for a night of many, many martinis, sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin.

The fan favourite Jameson’s Rave Cave returns too, this time at Alice, with the late-night bar swapping out their regular 80’s rock tones for a high-octane dance soundtrack and the energy to match.

This is all in the lead-up to Frog’s Hollow Saloon’s ‘Big 2nd Birthday Bonanza’, where the crew invite all the honky tonk creatures who have called this waterhole home over the years to make the journey back for a wild night of music, bourbon and good times.
