Leading London bartender and spirits industry figure, Henry Besant, has passed away at the age of 40. Besant was well known for his passion for tequila, and he was behind the creation of the Olmeca Los Altos brand.
Together with fellow London bartender, Dre Masso, he formed the drinks consultancy business, Worldwide Cocktail Club, and had worked at and won awards for both Rockwell and Lonsdale in London in the early 2000’s.
The thoughts of the team at Australian Bartender are with his family and friends; his passing is a huge loss to the international drinks industry. He will be missed.
