El Jimador adds a Blanco to the range; Anejo to land later this year

Brown Forman are following up the success of El Jimador Reposado with the release of a blanco and anejo variant.

El Jimador makes much of the fact that it is Mexico’s number one selling tequila — and why wouldn’t it be. The reposado has enjoyed a favourable reputation by bartenders for a few years now and it has made its way in to the well at a number of top quality bars.

The blanco is crystal clear in colour and is put straight into bottle after distillation — you get an upfront smack of pure agave flavour from the use of 100% agave.

The anejo is yet to arrive on these fair shores but will be here in September. It’s aged for twelve months, resting in toasted white oak barrels  and has flavours of vanilla, oak, cinnamon and caramel.
