Tonight, Sydney bar The Rook will be batching up what they say is Australia’s biggest Negroni, because who doesn’t like Negronis?

It’s all part of the Aussie launch for the international celebration of the Negroni that is Negroni Week. What’s Negroni Week? It all started in 2013, when Negroni Week was kickstarted by Imbibe Magazine in the US. Last year Imbibe teamed up with Campari to promote the week and this year it’s international.

The initiative, in which bars raise money for charity by donating a portion of the Negroni sales for the week, kicks off on June 1 this year and runs until June 7.

The Rook will be donating $5 from each Negroni towards earthquake relief in Nepal, so you can drink up safe in the knowledge that your drinking is doing some good for a change.
