It’s that time of year where we throw open the voting page and ask you, the Australian bar industry, for your thoughts on who are the best bartenders and bars, managers and operators around the country.
All the big categories are back again this year — Cocktail Bar of the Year, Bar of the Year and more — and once again we’ll see the great bar cultures popping around the country rewarded with the state awards.
We’ve got five new awards this year, too — Gin Bar of the Year, Whisky Bar of the Year, Rum Bar of the Year and the Phil Bayly Award for Tequila Bar of the Year, along with the introduction of the Hotel Bar of the Year.
The annual big night of the best in the business is on again this year on Tuesday the 20th of September at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf.
