Kings Cross is somewhere that you would have gone for dinner and a show back in the roaring ’40s. In its time its showcased the juxtaposition of the glamorous and the seedy. Nowadays you can still get the former at Potts Point favourite, The Roosevelt. They serve up delicious meals and a liquid nitrogen enabled drinks cart really adds to the show. They have a few signatures that use this hyper cooling and somewhat flashy style of cocktail production. The one featured here is all about the tropics. So pull up a bar stool and hold onto that tropical dream while while the wintry air gets chilly around us.
