The iconic pizza joint Connie’s started as just a hole-in-the-wall in 2017, inside the iconic rock ‘n’ roll bar, Heartbreaker. Now with a new space directly above Heartbreaker, Connie’s has expanded into a standalone modern 100-seat trattoria, showcasing traditional dishes inspired by Michael’s memories of growing up in his family’s Italian restaurants with his Nonna, Connie.

It was great to head down to Melbourne to host the Indie Spirits Tasting at The Craft & Co in Melbourne on the weekend. We had a great turn out of exhibitors and both consumers and the trade spent an afternoon tasting some really great booze from over 30 exhibitors.
Bartender Boxing is back! And we are pumped. After its Australian debut in 2019 and two years of false starts, applications are now open to Sydney bartenders to put their training gloves on and compete to enter the ring during Sydney Bar Week on Sunday, 4th September from 8pm till late.
