Well, it’s taken us nearly a week but we’ve finally recovered from the big night of celebrations that was 2017’s Bartender Magazine Australian Bar Awards — take a look at the gallery of winners here.
The brand will once again include Whiskey in the blend, which previously had been phased out until Sazerac purchased the iconic brand in 2016.
There were more than 150 brands available to taste on the day, from 46 suppliers, and it was also as large a gathering of Australian distilleries under one roof as you’re likely to find, with 26 Australian distilleries greeting the punters with their product.
