The prize: The ultimate bartenders trip!?A winner from each category will travel across the globe to the home of Bourbon, Kentucky visiting the distilleries Maker’s Mark and Jim beam —receiving the VIP treatment along the way, then off to Bar Convent Brooklyn in New York, experiencing some of the world’s best bars and the winners will carry the legacy as mentors for future master blenders.

This month The Blends of the World partners with Dandelyan, and the tour is about to kick off in WA as the first stop. Without getting all geeky and too OTT, the menu for the Dandelyan tour is imaginative, inimitable and darn tasty — get a behind the scenes look at how the tour comes together.
One big focus of The Perfect Blend this year has been on sustainability. In Byron Bay, the competitors would have to not just make drinks that incorporated second-use ingredients to minimise waste whilst bringing the maximum in taste, they also received some wisdom in how to incorporate sustainability within their own lives through their early morning yoga workshop.
