The complete seminar schedule from the FIVE theatres at Sydney BarShow 09 features some of the biggest names in the international and local bartending fraternity and covers all the hottest topics that are on the agenda in Australia’s bar industry right now.  You will be able to watch competitions and international speakers on the Bartender magazine Bar Mixology Stage, pop your nose into at tasting in the Bar Tastings Theatre, talk business with leading bar experts and operators in the Bar Talks Theatre or check out one of our new and innovative offerings like Tequila World or Smuggler’s Den.

Check out ‘Meet, Greet and Keep ‘Em Sweet‘ at the Bar Talks Theatre on day one where our panel of local industry experts (including Tim Wastell, Blue Diamond, Melbourne, Sebastian Raeburn, 1806, Melbourne, Ben Walsh, Goldfish, Sydney and Ben Davidson, Cocktail Chef and Signé national spirits ambassador) will discuss the finer points of service and often neglected salesmanship skills. International bartending legends Jim Meehan and Philip Duff will take centre stage at the Bartender Magazine Bar Mixology Theatre for ‘Please Do Tell‘ – the inside story about speed, efficiency and finances for the modern speakeasy. And all the Tequila lovers out there will be able to join three of the world’s leading tequila aficionados (Julio Bermejo, Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant, San Francisco, and Tequila ambassador to the US, Tomas Estes, Tequila ambassador to UK and Europe and Phil Bayly, Café Pacifico, Sydney) in a series of tastings and seminars dedicated to the agave spirit in the Tequila World.
