Celebrating its sixth year, the wildly popular Australian Burlesque Festival (ABF) is once again touring Australia nationwide from 11 June – 4 July 2015. Green Fairy Absinth has long been a supporter of the burlesque scene in Australia and will once again be joining the festival this year as the presenting partner.
The biggest celebration of tease in the Southern Hemisphere, The ABF brings together the best of national and emerging performers along with renowned international icons never before seen on Australian stages. From the best in classic and glamorous acts to shimmy shaking exotic tease and beyond; sparkle and sizzle abounds!
The ABF will launch in Melbourne with its first residency at Wonderland Spiegeltent in Melbourne’s Docklands. For four exclusive nights be thrilled and seduced by a special line up of shows including “High Voltage Varietease” featuring circus, sideshow and vaudeville performances and “Empress Nouvelle” showcasing the best of neo-burlesque from fetish and erotica to the comedic and bizarre.
Guests are able to experience The Applesinth Cocktail, a delicious mix of absinth, cloudy apple juice and lemonade and enjoy time with the Green Fairies.
