It’s just a matter of weeks until the Indie Tasting concept goes on the road with its first outing:  Indie Tasting Brisbane on Sunday, 29th May (click here to book your tickets).

The guys from Neat Spirits have announced that they will be showcasing Plantation Rum, Crazy Uncle Moonshine from Whipper Snapper Distillery and Mancino Vermouth.

Mancino Vermouth is a new arrival into the country. It is an exceptional artisanal vermouth blended with the finest ingredients to create an original, yet classic, recipe inspired by world renowned Italian bartender Giancarlo Mancino. Used as a main ingredient in most cocktails whether forgotten or innovative. Perfect as an all-day aperitif when served neat, chilled or over ice.

Brothers-in-law Alasdair Malloch and James McKeown are behind Australia’s first dedicated bourbon-style whisky distillery. Set up in an East Perth warehouse, the Whipper Snapper Distillery is a $500,000 investment. Crazy Uncle Moonshine is their first product to market.

There will also be the well-known Plantation Rum brand on show. Plantation produces rums from several Caribbean countries, encompassing a broad range of styles. The top ones are shipped to France for final maturation at Cognac Ferrand, which owns the Plantation brand.

Indie Tasting lands in Brisbane on Sunday, 29th May and is Australia’s only independent spirits showcase. Packed with live music, 100-plus craft and boutique spirits, this event is just $20 if you book online. So, click here to book your tickets now!
