Thank you to all those who applied for The Scholarship program by The Blend. With over 200 applicants, we are happy to announce the list of successful Scholars for 2021.
What is The Scholarship?
The Scholarship has been designed specifically with the needs of hospitality professionals in mind, focusing on career and personal development. Over the coming months, there are a number of fantastic events, workshops, industry hosts and prizes up for grabs.
For those new to the hospitality industry, The Scholarship will teach the fundamentals of hospitality. Or for those moving up the ranks, they will learn modern bartending techniques from global and local mentors. The program has educational workshops hosted by keynote speakers, covering things from presentation skills, photography and personal brand development, to digital marketing and social media skills, career path and so much more that is yet to be revealed.
The successful applicants will have a jam packed program rolled out in June, in which they have access to live and immersive two-day events in their state. In addition to this, there will be online learning with masterclasses and sessions from mentors and experts, and in September they will be invited to an exclusive Sydney Bar Week event for The Scholarship, to network and share skills with likeminded professionals.
