Sydney’s iconic basement dive bar, Ramblin’ Rascal Tavern is turning ten this April, and we can’t quite believe it.
To celebrate the milestone, owners Dardan Shervashidze, Charlie Lehmann and Cosmo (Sebastian Soto) have decided to throw a party. Well, actually, they are throwing six parties. In true Rascal-style, they are celebrating for the whole week.
“We will have different events daily, including sponsored drink specials, our collab whisky release, bar takeovers, live music, bands, oh and free massages to end the week. It’s gonna epic so pack your Hydralyte and Nurofen for a full fun packed Rascally week! – Cosmo
“Ramblin’ Rascal is turning a decade old! Who would’ve thunk it?” says Cosmo. “I know we didn’t. We gave it a shot when we were (are) young and dumb, and somehow it worked, and the people liked it enough to keep us open for 10 long years.”
Cosmo says that the ten years have been full of highs and lows and a week of celebrations is only fitting. Two icons of Sydney celebrate their 10th birthday! Archie Rose Distilling Company and Ramblin’ Rascal Tavern have teamed up to bang out a collaborative whisky, the 5 Star Dive Bar Double Malt. We will be hosting a trade tasting from 2 p.m. with David Fisher, and a spread of Archie Rose delights, drinks on arrival, and Devon sangas til they’re gone, and if you stick around, Zephry will be hosting Drag Trivia with the chance to win 5 Star Dive Bar Double Malt.

Rascal Arcade with Monkey Shoulder
Monkey Shoulder has come through with the goods, cracking open the Rascal Arcade with NBA Jam, RascalXMonkey tie-dye tees, a gumball machine with a chance to win gold skulls, free BUTTER-fried chooks, and music by The Smokey Mountain Men.
