“I love the bar industry. Honestly I’ve just gotten to meet some really fantastic people and everyone I’ve worked with have been phenomenal. I met a lot of people that are now a big part of my life from a variety of different backgrounds. I love that.” Jacob North, Burrow Bar
After five epic years in De Mestre Place, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, Burrow Bar owners Bryce McDonough and Chau Tran have announced today that their beloved bar is moving.
Sydney’s iconic Opera Bar, in collaboration with Bacardi Martini Australia, is set to host the inaugural Sydney Cocktail Festival – a three-day harbourside celebration of our city’s great small bars, the incredible cocktails they create, and the talented people who make them.

Hospothreads have got 14 bars online right now and Tran says they’re coding around the clock to get more venues on there ASAP — here’s how to get involved.
Bars are looking at ways they can bring in some money without punters in the venue — Chau Tran’s non-profit Hospothreads.com wants to help with that.
