After five epic years in De Mestre Place, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, Burrow Bar owners Bryce McDonough and Chau Tran have announced today that their beloved bar is moving.
Sydney’s iconic Opera Bar, in collaboration with Bacardi Martini Australia, is set to host the inaugural Sydney Cocktail Festival – a three-day harbourside celebration of our city’s great small bars, the incredible cocktails they create, and the talented people who make them.
We checked in with some of the country’s favourite rum specialists and here are five of their cocktail highlights.
When it comes to reopening bars, “there’s definitely going to be a shift in terms of our customers that aren’t ready for that leap,” says Chau Tran at Burrow bar in Sydney.
