If there’s one song that you think of when you think of Maybe Sammy, it would have to be ‘Tequila’, complimented by the in-house brass. So it’s no real surprise that for the group’s fifth outing that they would open a Mexican Cantina with Tequila at the fore.
Tales of the Cocktail’s annual Spirited Awards returned last night to celebrate its 16th year and it was a successful night for bars and bartenders the world over.
Maybe Sammy’s new cocktail menu which launched yesterday, is called ‘Stardust’ – it’s collection of 12 signature cocktails inspired by women from music, art, cinema and fashion. In the menu, each cocktail has a QR code which takes you to a custom cocktail filter created from Clementine’s artwork. So guests can jump on Insta with their drink and a custom filter.

The hype is real. Sammy Junior, the espresso and cocktail bar sibling of Maybe Sammy, opens today (despite the weather) on the ground level of 66 King Street in the Sydney CBD.

This morning, the owners of award-winning Sydney cocktail bar Maybe Sammy have announced a partnership with TFE Hotels to manage the food and beverage offering of a new premium hotel experience due to open early 2021 on the corner of George and Hunter Streets in the Sydney CBD. The working title for the new bar/restaurant is Deans on 22.
