Owners Adam Keane (ex-Ezra Pound) and Daniel Sterpini (Cocktail Gastronomy) were inspired by the educational and social aspects of the bar industry when they put together the Classroom. Jazzing the venue up with old artifacts, and school memorabilia, the team of ‘Teachers’ are happy to whip you up a brace of cocktails and match them with some house treats if you’re in the mood.
What can you expect cocktail-wise from the Classroom’s teachers? How about a Smoked Lunch Box Rob Roy from the Science 103 section, ‘Rambo’s favourite drink’ according to the crew, served up with Chivas 18. Or, The Bunsen After Burner, Chairman’s Spiced Rum, bunsen-burned bananas, fresh pressed lime, maple syrup and smoky bitters. While your tippling, chew through some Chermoula chicken drumsticks (17), Grilled fish buddies (18) or Baked beans and cheese toastie (15). And just put up your hand if you need anything else.
