Parched March 2012 raises $20,000

Parched March’s third year wrapped up, and once again the month long celebration of Sydney bars was a huge success.

This time round $20,000 was raised for the Animal Welfare League (NSW) and Parched March founder, Amy Cooper, was thrilled at the outcome.”We’re thrilled to have doubled last year’s total,” Cooper said. “The support and enthusiasm we had from our participating bars this year was unprecedented. They created amazing drinks, put on exciting events and threw themselves into raising money for a very grateful Animal Welfare League NSW.”

The wrap-up party was held at Bondi’s Bucket List with celebrations going on well into the night.”March is now established in the Sydney calendar as a month-long celebration of bars for charity and I’m incredibly proud to have achieved this,”Cooper stated. “We’ll continue to grow but the core values of Parched March will always remain the same: bringing people together in a spirit of celebration to help animals.”
