Adelaide’s Big Easy Drinks launches, keeping bartenders on to take orders, deliver drinks

Oliver Brown and Josh Talbot of Big Easy Group — and Big Easy Drinks.
Adelaide bar group, Big Easy Group, has four venues under its umbrella: NOLA, Yiasou George, The Stag Public House, and Anchovy Bandit.

To cope with the government shutdown of bars in response to the coronavirus outbreak, they’re putting their staff front and centre in a new venture, their online site Big Easy Drinks. Big Easy Drinks will serve Adelaide with some tasty hooch during the shutdown.

They’ve turned this website around pretty quick, we gotta say, and they’re employing their bartenders to take orders over the phone, packing orders, and delivering them.

“Like in our bars, our staff will be guiding and recommending products through staff selections and live website chats, so we can continue to deliver the personalised service that we pride ourselves on,” they said in a statement.

They’re focusing on promoting independent Australian producers, be it spirits, wine, or craft beer, and offering isolation options and same day delivery for Adelaide.

So if you’re in Adelaide and you’re thirsty, visit them at bigeasydrinks.com.au.

It’s great to see an independent Australian bar group doing its bit.
