WA’s Gage Roads Brewing Co launched the Atomic Beer Project in Sydney in late September. Housed in a renovated mid-century warehouse in the heart of Redfern, the microbrewery and Thai-inspired restaurant is a brewpub at heart.

The range of t-shirts and prints are ‘for badass, bottle smashing night-owls’ and are inspired by the tattoos seen on many a bartending arm. Popular slogans like “No one cares Karen”, “Say Please” and “Call me Old Fashioned” have been a hit with patrons and staff alike.
Situated in the old Redfern Continental, The Sunshine Inn is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar. The drinks are Australian focussed with a wine list showcasing the best of Australia’s budding natural wine scene.
The team at Old Mate’s Place selected The Knickerbocker for the introductory cocktail this month as according to Dan Noble it’s been staging a bit of a comeback. A classic from Jerry Thomas, the Old Mate’s version features pomegranate.
In news just in, three Sydney bars have made the cut in the World’s 50 Best Bars. A huge congrats to Maybe Sammy (11), Cantina OK! (28) and Bulletin Place (39). London’s Connaught bar knocked Dante off the top spot.
