There’s a new spirits company making bottles that bartenders are going to appreciate because they’ve been designed by bartenders with the trade in mind. The 86 Co – formed by industry veteran Simon Ford along with Jason Kosmas and Dushan Zaric (both of Employees Only fame) – have released four new spirits in the States. They are designed to be versatile mixing options, and have an ergonomically designed bottle. They are releasing Ford’s Gin, Aylesbury Duck Vodka, Caña Brava Rum and Tequila Cabeza.
Ford, who has been a long-time spirits ambassador and is Chairman of Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards, is eyeing off Australian representation too, hoping to launch here within a year.
