They say a rising tide floats all boats, right? Well, that’s what a group of Perth operators are hoping for with their latest campaign. They’ve banded together to get Thursday nights in the Perth CBD and Northbridge happening, with the Let’s Thursday Like It’s Friday campaign.

Some 52 operators are involved, and each venue will offer something special each Thursday from February 9th to March 10th, and it’s better to be working together says Two Bit Group’s Andy Freeman.

“Instead of us all working independently on trying to increase trade throughout our venues, we decided it would be more beneficial for us to work together to encourage as many CBD workers as possible to stay in the City on a Thursday evening,” says Freeman, who owns the award winning Varnish on King and The Flour Factory in the CBD.

Freeman and the other operators hope that this campaign will fuel further midweek outings in Perth.

The campaign also has rock frontman Tex Perkins as a bartender dispensing advice on the benefits of Thursdays.
